International Widows’ Day is a time set aside and ratified by the United Nations (UN) to address the poverty and injustice faced by millions of widows and their dependents with the primary aim of raising awareness to the global issues of widowhood.
The Rose of Sharon Foundation is spiritually mandated and committed to not allowing the plight of widows to go unnoticed. We are determined to fight for their rights and provide succour to them as best as we can. At ROSF, we reach out to touch the lives of widows and orphans everyday.
Our theme for this year’s International Widows Day is “Global Change: Widowhood and COVID-19, the Challenges and Opportunities”
