The Rose of Sharon Foundation is driven by its passion to have healthy widows and orphans by creating access to free medical care. We have had three (3) major free medical outreaches so far in this year, 2022.
RoSF in collaboration with its partner organized another cancer screening program for its widows and orphans. This targeted breast and cervical cancer. This program held on 14th July 2022.
This outreach was done in collaboration with Xcene Research, a leading Contract Research Organization (CRO) providing full service and support to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies, as well as academic research institutions across Sub- Saharan Africa, THE TEES foundation, and Optimum Cancer Care foundation.
Two hundred (200) widows were served in terms of screening both for breast and cervical cancer. Food items were distributed to all widows in attendance courtesy of our partner (Xcene Research).
