The Rose of Sharon Foundation (RoSF) is an NGO focused on poverty alleviation of widows and orphans. We design and execute programmes that give financial independence and educational opportunities to these marginalized groups. Since inception, RoSF has empowered over 950 widows, awarded scholarships to 1,366 widows’ children and 86 orphans.

The Rose of Sharon Foundation celebrated the International Widows’ Day 2017 last Friday, 23rd June 2017 at ROSGMI Hall Surulere. It was themed “The Economic Empowerment of Widows: A Call to Action”.
